Terms and Conditions

Company: Smart Lifestyle Australia ABN 54 652 113 561 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases, payments, and interactions made through Smart Lifestyle Australia’s website, in-store, or via direct invoice. By using our services or making a payment, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Products and Services

Smart Lifestyle Australia provides energy-efficient white goods including heat pumps, air conditioners, hot water systems, and related services. Product specifications, pricing, and promotional offers are subject to change without notice.

2. Orders and Payments

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Prices include GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch or installation unless otherwise agreed.
  • The ‘Make a Payment’ tab processes secure payments via a third-party gateway; we do not store your credit card details.
  • If paying via finance or government rebate programs, eligibility must be confirmed prior to installation.

3. Delivery and Installation

  • Delivery and installation times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure access to the site on the agreed installation day.
  • Additional charges may apply for non-standard installation, travel to regional areas, or rescheduling without 48 hours’ notice.

4. Returns and Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch or installation. A cancellation fee may apply.
  • Change of mind returns are not accepted once goods are installed or used.
  • If a product is faulty or damaged on arrival, you must notify us within 7 days. We will arrange for assessment and, if appropriate, repair, replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

5. Warranties

  • All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, with minimum coverage required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Warranty periods and terms vary by product and are detailed in your purchase documentation.
  • Warranty may be voided if the product is misused, tampered with, or not installed by an authorised technician.

6. Limitation of Liability

Smart Lifestyle Australia is not liable for any:
  • Indirect or consequential losses,
  • Installation delays due to third parties,
  • Loss or damage caused by improper use of the product.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Governing Law

The laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, govern these Terms. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria.
